Section titled “Subcommands”| Command | Meaning |
|---|---|
palm cache clean |
Delete every checkout and index (sources stay declared). |
Options
Section titled “Options”No options of its own. The global options apply.
Behavior
Section titled “Behavior”The cache holds <cache>/<source id>/sha-<commit>/, one checkout per commit, fetched once, and one index file per source, commit and layout.
The folder has mode 0700, and the indexes hold redacted hashes, never secret values.
After palm cache clean, sources stay declared in palm.yaml and pinned in the lock.
The next command that needs a commit fetches it again.
A bare palm install --offline fails until then, because the locked commit is no longer cached.
palm never cleans the cache by itself. Delete it whenever you like; nothing else depends on it.
